Project Overview

Life Tree Anatomical is a Texas-based healthcare organization facilitating the whole body donation process for medical research and anatomical education. Their mission is deeply personal and sensitive — helping individuals and families navigate a meaningful end-of-life decision with clarity, compassion, and dignity. The website needed to balance professionalism with warmth, making a complex medical process feel approachable and trustworthy.

The Challenge

Healthcare websites carry unique responsibilities — they must be accessible, empathetic, and compliant. The previous website was clinical and cold, failing to reflect the compassionate mission of the organisation. Important information about the donation process was buried and hard to find, leading to high bounce rates and low inquiry conversions. The client needed a site that felt like a supportive guide, not a medical form.

Our Solution

We designed a completely custom WordPress experience with a warm, reassuring visual identity — soft greens, clean typography, and gentle animations that create a sense of calm and trust. The information architecture was rebuilt from the ground up: a step-by-step donation guide, FAQ sections, and clear CTAs guide families through the process without overwhelming them. JavaScript-powered interactive elements help users find the information they need quickly. Accessibility standards (WCAG) were strictly followed throughout.
